TWEED

I'm getting more comfortable mixing textures and patterns. Tweed is great, albeit a little scratchy, and I couldn't pass up this jacket that I got for $7.50! You'll probably see a theme here...I'm really good at finding the sales.

Hair cut and colour done by my amazingly talented friend Heather at Mint Hair Studio.

Jacket: Ricki's (similar here and here) / Top: Zara / Pants: Zara (similar) / Booties: Call It Spring (old, similar) / Necklace: Dogeared

I've also mastered the top-knot without the donut insert, so that voluminous bun is all my own hair!  I paired this jacket with black pants, a graphic tee and black ankle booties. Dressing business casual for work is a struggle. I can't bring myself to wear dress pants no matter how hard I try, so a look similar to this is generally my go-to.  Thankfully today is casual Friday which means jeans!  Then after work we hit the road for a weekend of traveling.

Happy Thanksgiving to all celebrating this weekend! I'm definitely thankful to be spending this weekend with my own large, loving family, and Andrew's family.
