Chicken and Broccoli Bowties

oh, it's been a while! the end of the semester is nearing and soon I will have two weeks of working and preparing for the holidays before heading home to spend quality time with family, which I can guarantee will provide a lot of eating and a lot of baking!

in the meantime, I forced myself to make a real meal the other night - a long time favourite that never disappoints!

the ingredients are simple: a head of broccoli, a can of broccoli soup, bread crumbs, cheese, bow ties and two chicken breasts. cook your chicken, boil your pasta for five minutes then add the broccoli for five minutes. mix can of soup with 3/4 cup of milk. drain pasta and broccoli and add chicken and put in greased casserole dish. pour soup mixture over to coat noodles. mix two tablespoons of bread crumbs with a tablespoon of melted butter. sprinkle the cheese, add bread crumb mixture and bake in the oven at 425*f for 25 minutes.

I can almost promise you won't regret it. this is the easiest dinner to make and never, ever disappoints. it reheats well, too so you can eat it for days on end and it still tastes as delicious as it did when you pulled it from the oven.

anyway, that's about all there is time for tonight. in other news, I adopted a kitten a few months ago and his name is oliver. look at that little face! his personality is huge and he loves to eat every thing in sight so he can make cooking a challenge!

just a few more papers to go and then this blog will be back to regularly scheduled programming! until then, happy making!
