PINECONE PLACE CARDS

These are as easy as they look and customizable to suit your taste! A little bit of mod podge, glitter and unscented pinecones and you're left with simple place cards.

We're having friends in for a Christmas party of sorts on Saturday, and although I don't quite have a table to fit all of us, I have made place cards anyway!

I used gel pens - yes, gel pens! - to write names on the cards and secured it with a dab of hot glue!

The countdown to Christmas is getting smaller by day. I'm getting really anxious to get home to my family and prepare for the holidays, sit by the Christmas tree (this is the last year I will be setting up my 3 foot Christmas tree - next year I'm making sure we get a real one in our apartment!) and let the fireplace roar.

  1. Ohhhhhh Emily!

I just love these pine cones. Have some in a pail on my front doorstep, that are just 'natural'. But yours top it all! I love the sparkles, and your hand-writing for the names, is just so personal and engaging for conversation:) Who knew? You and I went from Kraft Dinner after university one night, to......Aunt Di bakes only......and look at YOU!

    Love,
    Aunt Di
