THE BEAUTY EDIT: A CURATED COLLECTION FOR YOU!

artifact skin co, evy and jo, camp skincare, my mane care

This is not a joke, despite it being the first of April. Many of you know that I've been working closely with Indie Apothecary over the last six months or so to make a conscious effort to migrate my beauty products to eco-friendly, small batch products. It's been a journey, for lack of a better word, with ups and downs. There have been products I love and can't get enough of, and there have been some that I've tried and realized hey, that isn't for me. I've been honest along the way in an effort to help others who may be curious about making the switch.

This is where my "this is not a joke" part comes in. Launching today, I've curated a collection of my personal favourites for you to shop on Indie Apothecary's site! From some of my most loved products (hello, Artifact Egyptian Honey mask!) to some of my new favourites (yes, looking at you Pink House Organics Glow Stick) there's a little something for everyone. If you're looking to shop for yourself or to find the perfect gift for someone, this collection is a great place to start.

Want to know what sweetens the deal even more? For a limited time you can save 15% on my collection! Shop April 1-7 and save on any of the products featured in my collection. They are marked down right on the site, so no special code needed! Shop away and check out (with free shipping!) and your products will land on your door step!

The even better part? INDIE is partnering with positive female influencers every month to curate a personal collection! This is an initiative I am so excited about. You can read about real life experiences using these products from women across the country. I can't wait for you to try some of my favourites so you can fall in love just as much as I have over the last 6 months.

Now, onto the really exciting part! Here's what you'll find in my collection:

b.kind Rose + White Tea Hand Balm, Cranberry Seeds Face Scrub and Nail Polish in French Pink or Hazy Lilac
A soft, light frangance hand balm to get you through this winter that won't seem to let go! Smooth and grease-free, you can use this year round to make your hands soft as a feather.

It can't just be me that can't seem to keep nail polish on my fingers unless it was professionally put there. Well I painted my nails with French Pink last Sunday (3/26) and as of today (4/1) I have minimal chips. It goes on opaque after only two coats and is the perfect subtle hue to grace your fingertips as we move into spring!

Pink House Organics Glow Stick in Rose
While rose is my favourite, their collection features four signature colours: rose, ice (to get that perfect highlight!), rose gold and copper (to bronze!) Now that I have white blonde hair, I love a good rosy cheek to compliment it as we move into warmer months.

Artifact Skin Co. Egyptian Honey Rose Face Masque, After Masque Tonique and Masque Brush
These products are a favourite of mine for a reason. The day after using the masque my skin is even in tone and so soft. It brightens dull, tired skin and gives it a second wind, soothing any irritated skin. I've mentioned before that it seems like a never ending battle with my skin and I credit turning the corner to this face masque.

Plaj Jericho Premium Turkish Towel
I've been eyeing turisk towels for a long time. If you're looking for the perfect turisk towel to take to the beach, use as a lightweight blanket or as a change to your everyday towel, this is it! I have Storm (also known as grey) which is basically my favourite colour so I couldn't be happier to throw this in my beach bag this summer and soak up some sun!

Evy Jo & Co Cafe Menthe Lip Balm
I'm not a coffee drinker but that doesn't mean I won't put it on my lips! A transparent lip balm that moisturizes and is naturally scented with coffee essential oil and spearmint is the perfect 'thinking of you' gift or a great reason to treat yo'self!

Camp Matcha Latte Eye Cream
Another favourite of mine from the very beginning. I shared my entire experience with CAMP in this post and my opinion hasn't changed. The eye cream really is smooth like butter and moisturizes those tough under eye circles we're all bound to have sometime or another (mine seem permanent these days!) A little goes a long way. I've been using mine since the fall and it looks like I've hardly made a dent in it. This is worth the investment!

Wild Wood Amulet Muscle Balm with Cinnamon Bark
While I haven't personally used this product, my dad has and he loves it. He's got sore joints and muscles so I put this in his stocking at Christmas and he swears that it works. This is a warming, hydrating balm made with locally harvested arnica flowers--so throw your drugstore muscle balms out and give this a go.

Murphy + Jo Fig and Honey Soy Candle
I'm a sucker for candles. I have them in every drawer in the house, used, finished, and brand new, you can find them everywhere! I love to light a candle when I settle into the living room for an hour in the evening and watch it flicker from my peripheral vision as we watch TV or read a book. Soy candles are a longer, cleaner burn and this one in particular gives a refreshingly light scent to the room it's in.

Routine Cream Deodorant in Napolean's Dynamite
Although this particular scent is made with men in mind, I am actually quite partial to deeper scents. This deodorant is a clay and beeswax formula that smells like sandalwood, bergamot, and black pepper. Throw your Old Spice out the window, there's a new deodorant in town! Although natural deodorant is definitely a learning curve, it's worth it in the end.

My Mane Care Hydrating Hair Mask
As I mentioned earlier, I am now very blonde so taking care of my locks has moved to the top of my priority list. Bleaching your hair is undoubtedly damaging so I'm doing all I can to ensure that I keep my hair as healthy as I can. This vegan friendly, oil based hair and scalp treatment is designed to hydrate, revive, strength and maintain your hair's health and shine. Um, maybe it's just me but with summer around the corner, I want to have shiny, glowing locks, kind of like a mermaid. Yes please!

There you have it! That my friends is my curated collection! I wanted to have a something for everyone! Maybe beauty and skincare isn't your jam, and that's OK! But you can still score that turkish towel or luxury candle you've been eyeing! Maybe your skin is a priority for you--there are some game changers in there for you.

These are all of my favourites, but I'd love to hear what your favourites are and where your green beauty priorities fall. Drop me a note and let me know what your biggest challenges are, or what the easiest switch was for you to make! Until then, happy shopping!

This post is brought to you in partnership with Indie Apothecary. All opinions are my own.
