KEEPING UP WITH THE CULOTTES

Has anyone ever thought about how weird blogging is? I do and there's often an internal struggle about the content I'm sharing. Is it good enough? Is it valuable to my readers? Am I giving you anything to take away when you click out of this post - tips, tricks, a recipe, a link to buy my pants? This inner monologue happens a lot because there's a lot of pressure to put out high quality content and there are a lot of bloggers out there who are really good at what they do.

This struggle is the reason for a lackluster schedule for content on this space. I'm hoping that with winter behind us (thankfully!) I will feel more inspired to create more content. I need to push my boundaries and step outside of my comfort zone and just do it. I know I can, so I should. Right? Right! It's just pushing the judgment and comparison out of the picture - which is sometimes easier said than done. What do you do when you hit a creative slump or find yourself comparing yourself to others? With the warmer weather and longer days upon us, here's to hoping we all find our creative spark!

Anyway, onto the outfit! I was pretty sure I had declared all the love I had in me for culottes here and here but I was wrong. I found this pair at Dynamite for $12. TWELVE DOLLARS. $12!!! The perfect rich cranberry tone can be paired with a white top, or as I just realized writing this blog post thinking about what I'm going to wear to work tomorrow...stripes! Culottes have to be the perfect transition piece for this time of year. It's not quite warm enough to wear a dress and it's not cold enough for pants, so these are the perfect mid-point (literally and figuratively).

I found these culottes online here and still available for $12! Get them while you can before they're gone! If the cranberry colour isn't your thing, I've linked them in black for you here and great news, also $12!

What I'm Wearing//  Top: Zara (I've worn it so much in the last few weeks that I'm considering going back to buy a second!) / Blazer: H&M (old, similar here and here) / Shoes: Zara (old, similar here and here)
